Jay-Z and Kanye West Watch the Throne Concert Outfit

Hello All!

As you know, I have to talk about my outfit and make-up for the concert.

The first picture is my outfit that I took at my mom house. My shirt is a vintage shirt that I found in my grandmothers closest, I had a black tank from Forever 21 plus sizes, a black skirt from Forever 21 plus sizes, tights with designs from the Avenue, a vintage purple chain purse from a rummage sale and flat shoes from payless.

My jewelry was pearls that came in a set of 10 from Forever 21 and a butterfly ring from Ashley Stewart, a plus size store.

Here are a couple of other pictures that show the top and the bottom of the outfit.

My makeup was done by me of course. My foundation is MAC studio fix plus NC 45, so is my powder, by MAC NC 45. Then my eyes was a pallet from eyes lips face. This was a smokey eye with a slight bit of purple to pop the color so it wasn't so smokey. Also the color under the brow as a highlighter of Ricepaper by MAC. The cheek color was a pop of red and my lips are a Moderate by MAC.

I hope that you enjoy and try this look out on yourself.

Jay-Z and Kanye West Watch the Throne Concert November 30th, 2011

Hello All,

I don't even know how to explain this, but this was the best concert I have ever been to in my whole life. I have been to a lot of concerts in the past, but this concert trumps everything.

On November 30th, I had to pleasure of going to the Jay-Z Kanye West Concert with my mom. Yes, I said it with my mom. She is the biggest Jay-Z fan ever, so it was fun to experience that with her. One of the many things that I can say about the concert, it was extremely well put together, wasn't too much going on on stage, but the lights that were used in the concert were amazing.

Before the concert started, I always look around for anyone I know or anyone famous I can get a photo-op with. As I was getting one of my favorite drinks at the concert, a Mai-Tai, I see Jessica from season six of the Bad Girls Club. She was the one that her favorite word was Wang. She was very nice, gave me a hug and kiss and good a great picture together. She was very humble.

The tickets stated 7:30pm, but I figured the doors opened at 7:30pm and the concert maybe didn't start to 8:30pm. My mom was so into it, she felt it would start on time and I knew it wouldn't. Overall the concert didn't start til, 9:22pm, but it was worth the wait. We had some great seats, many people may say that they were nose bleed sections, but we had a direct view to the stage. I can say that I did stand for the two and a half hour concert, but my mom was able to sit the whole time, see clearly and enjoy the concert. Once it started, it didn't seem like that we waited for two hours.

The concert started out with H.A.M (Hard as a MotherF***er) and the crowd went stupid. You could feel the energy that was going throughout the building. The duo was on opposite of the stages and they were on risers. It was so dope and amazing. So as everyone is singing, they were going down on the risers. It was like spotlight just on them and nothing else. As they get done with H.A.M. you could see Jay-Z run off the single risers and get to the main stage. It pretty much gave him time to get to the main stage to sing one of my favorite songs of the WTT (Watch the Throne Album), Otis. Of course there was a huge flag in the background as they sang Otis. The best part of this flag  after the song was over was, the flag collapsed but before it hit the floor, it was pulled up right away. My mom and I found that amazing how they did that. It was well orchestrated. **Just as some tidbit of info: if you drop the american flag, it is a felony were you could be imprisoned in jail for up to three years and have $100,000 dollar fine.**

Kanye was so happy to be in his home city of Chicago. He put in his all into the concert, but you could see the emotion in him throughout the concert. When Kanye was on stage singing his singles from his albums, Jay-Z was off the stage, resting or doing whatever. It was really dope the way when one was done, they would come back on stage together. Also visa versa, when Jay-Z was on stage Kanye was off the stage.

Also it was good to see that when Jay-Z sang 'Empire State of Mind' everyone in the building threw up the diamond sign and sang like we weren't from Chicago. Jay couldn't believe that we sang the words to strongly. That was a pretty cool yet soothing moment in the concert.

One of my favorite segments of the concert was when Jay-Z was singing Big Pimping. At this point Kanye was off of the stage, then once the song was over, Kanye came on stage and said; "Man, I said when I get signed I was gonna be big pimpin, spending cheese, spending cheese, but then I got...." that's when Goldgigger beat dropped. Everyone started laughing but then getting into the song. Once that song was over Jay-Z said; "Man, I'm sorry, I really never had those problems, but I can help you with this..." then 99 problems dropped. It was an epic. It flowed so well and the arena went mad. I guess that's why they call the United Center the 'Madhouse on Madison'.

Finally, the concert was coming to an end and it was still cracking. Of course the final song was Ni**gs in Paris (NIP). Once the beat dropped, the crowd was crazy. Also both Jay-Z and Kanye had on Bulls hats because of course the MVP of the 2010-2011 NBA season Derrick Rose was in the building as well as six time world champ and Olympic gold winner Scottie Pippen. Kanye shouted both of them out before the song began. So after singing NIP, the lights when black, like the concert was over. I am going to prepare you, it was the encore of encores. Once the crowd went crazy both Jay and Kanye came out, stood there, smiled and said "again" and the beat dropped for NIP again. Then a third time, then a fourth, then a fifth time. At this point Jay and Kanye said this; "We were in Boston and we did it three times, then we went to another city and did it seven times, now we in Chi-town, we have to break the record". At this point Jay calls everyone to the stage and says "security, calm down, we got this, we want this to feel like a club. Once everyone was situated and it was club feel Jay said "again" and the beat dropped for NIP. At this point we are only on number six and we had two more to go. As we were getting in the song, so many people threw their hats on stage and Kanye picked up most of them and wore it for a second to show his fans some love then he threw the hats back to the fan.

We got to the last NIP and it was the best one. The energy in the building was electric. We didn't really want it to end. Kanye put his hand to his heart and it was an amazing experience and we felt the same way that we did. Jay said Chi-town is the best and thanked us for coming.

No one wanted to leave, that concert was cray! I was living off the energy of the concert for two days. It was so inspiring and heartwarming and well put together and amazing. I cannot think of any other way to describe how the concert made me feel.

To Jay-Z and Kanye West, Thank you for the best concert I have ever been too in my life. Also my mom had the best time ever. Thank you and you two are completely in a league of your own. Thank you for coming to my city and shutting it down! This concert will be in the history books!

Day 2 of Kanye and Jay-Z in Chicago.

I just so happened to be out and guess who I ran into, Jay-Z and Kanye. At this time Kanye was showing Jay his old stomping grounds. That shows that Kanye is starting to be humble and grateful for his roots of Chicago. Love ya!
